Tiger Eye – a good start

updateYou will have to forgive me about updates for a while.  I’m juggling several projects right now.

First update on my word count for the Clarion Write-athon.

I’ve got over 2,000 words on “When Good Men Stand Silent.” Currently, I’m rethinking this, or at lest considering making this a novella. With the unexpected character, the plot’s gotten a bit complicated but I hope better. I should be coming up on the climax of the story if I wanted it to be short, but I’m not even close. I’ll try to get some more brainstorming later.

My current word count (goes to look) on Tiger Eye is 8500.   It might not seem like a lot, but I’ve written over 4,000 words in the past 2 days alone. While I’m still behind on what I would like, I’ll reach my 30,000 word count easily by the end of the write-a-thon.

And I certainly have not forgotten about my beadwork. If anyone does beadwork they know that branched fringe takes a bit, but I really am almost finished! I even have the pieces for the clasp.

The beading book is partially drafted. Until I get to work on samples I won’t know exactly what stitches I’ll be using for the first book.  I’ve got a pretty good idea, but I got to try things out first.

Oh and I have my camera back so I’ll be showing some photos of beads and perhaps my new hair cut. 😉
